Projects
With the completion of the new Zachary Community Park playground, we have the opportunity as a community to add a second playground that is accessible to all children. With this future phase every child will be able to experience the thrill of going down a slide, chasing siblings and friends, and just spending a day playing at the park.
By giving our input and raising funds to supplement BREC’s budget for the project, we can make our park renovation even better. We believe that the renovation will strengthen our neighborhood by creating a beautiful and safe place for families to gather and get to know one another. Our hope is that the improvements to our park will mean that parents and children will choose to play at the park near home instead of going elsewhere, will be a place for seniors and nature lovers walk our newly constructed nature trail, and where all of the neighborhood families will plan events such as picnics and birthday parties.
