By now, you have probably seen information regarding the proposed improvements to our neighborhood BREC Park. That is because our park is on BREC’s schedule for a face-lift. We have a unique opportunity to participate in the process. By giving our input and raising funds to supplement BREC’s budget for the project, we can make our park renovation even better. We believe that the renovation will strengthen our neighborhood by creating a beautiful and safe place for families to gather and get to know one another. Our hope is that the improvements to our park will mean that parents and children will choose to play at the park near home instead of going elsewhere, will be a place for seniors and nature lovers walk our newly constructed nature trail, and where all of the neighborhood families will plan events such as picnics and birthday parties.
